Could it be that Rain is gay?
The Korean superstar recently shocked the nation by rejecting a celebrity fan - kimchi-hot Korean pop star, Lee Hyori - who named him as her dream lover.
Hyori's public humiliation began when both celebs, who starred alongside each other in a big banking commercial in 2008, were invited to guest on a Korean variety show on national TV.
When the host asked who would she like to date, the still single singer said immediately, "Rain. He's my ideal boyfriend".
And Rain's instant reply to that was: "No Hyori. I've never seen you as girlfriend material."
Needless to say, she turned red upon hearing his insulting remarks.

Madonna, eat your heart out! Guy Ritchie has found himself a new squeeze in the form of Jacqui Ainsley - the model behind PlayStation 3's best-selling game, Heavy Rain.
The filmmaker, who divorced from the material mum last year, was spotted saying goodbye to the sexy model in his pyjamas on his doorstep earlier this week, as she left his London apartment.

But it has now emerged exactly why the 41-year-old director had a smile on his face, after images of the 28-year-old beauty pictured as a semi-nude gaming character were released.

Jacqui - who played vixen Madison Paige in Heavy Rain - showed off her womanly curves as she stripped off for a body-imaging session.
A PlayStation source told BANG Showbiz: "Jacqui wore a body suit which tracked her every move and size so her gaming character is exactly her replica - breasts and all!"
When the pair were spotted looking smitten together earlier this week, they didn't appear to mind who saw them and even burst out laughing when they were spotted by photographer.
Another source said: "They both started laughing when they realised they had been caught out and that Guy was still in his pyjamas. They seemed very much a couple."
