Edison on GF: Everything is fine between us

Is Edison Chen's relationship with Vincy Yeung on the rocks?

Is Edison Chen's relationship with Vincy Yeung on the rocks?

Hong Kong actor Edison Chen, who shocked the Asian showbiz with his photo scandal years ago, has been in a steady relationship with Vincy Yeung, the niece of Hong Kong EEG founder Albert Yeung.

However, Hong Kong tabloid reported that the couple has broken up and that Chen is romantically linked to 18-year-old Fiona, the daughter of former Miss Hong Kong Isabella Kau.

Fiona was seen recently at a party organised by Chen’s company Colt in Hong Kong's Central District.

Chen was quick to refute the claim, reported Hong Kong daily Ming Pao.

“I don’t know her (Fiona). It’s a party organised by the company, so I was not the only one extending the invitations. I don’t understand why she was painted as my love interest just because she was at the party,” he said through a spokesperson of East Asia Entertainment.

“I respect the media all this while, but please don’t simply report anyone as my girlfriend.

“Everything is fine between us,” he said when quizzed about the status of his relationship with Yeung.

Bianca Kajlich

Toward the end of Landon Donovan's emotive post-match tribute to the triumphant U.S. soccer team, the American star said "Hi, Bianca," and blew a kiss to the camera, which left casual observers wondering, just who is Bianca?

The woman in question is Donovan's ex-wife Bianca Kajlich (pronounced "kay-lick"), the 33-year-old actress whom he married on New Year's Eve 2006. She looks an awful lot like this...

Sitcom fans may recognize her as Jennifer from CBS' "Rules of Engagement". She has also been featured in "Dawson's Creek," the brilliant-sounding "Confessions of a Dog" and alongside Busta Rhymes in "Halloween Resurrection". (Interestingly, her screams in the latter were dubbed by another actress, as she is unable to scream.)

Despite having a solid enough domestic life to feature on an episode of "MTV Cribs," Bianca and Landon separated in December 2009, a few days shy of their three-year anniversary. So why would a sportsman pay tribute to his ex-wife after one of the most important moments of his career? After the game, Yahoo! Sports' Martin Rogers asked Donovan about the shoutout to his former belle, and he said:

"I have carried her with me all through this tournament and she means lot to me. She is a very special person and she means a lot to me."

It appears that the separation was not only amicable, but beneficial to his career, as he recently explained:

"I think every comment I got when I told people I was getting divorced was, 'I'm so sorry,' " said Donovan, speaking on Day 2 of the USA national team training camp. "It is not always the case that it has to be 'sorry.'

"Sometimes you learn more from those moments than anything. For me that was certainly the case. It doesn't have to be something ugly or nasty. It can be helpful and you can grow from it. That is what we both took from it."

In an age where divorce is often messy, it's refreshing to see adults who can get along after a separation. They've even managed to arrange custody of their dogs without any sad puppy faces (I'm not sure who got to keep them in the end, but Donovan claimed they were one of the things he missed the most during his time with Bayern Munich).

It's obvious that the U.S. goalscoring hero is still fond of his former flame, but we wanted to know whether the kiss-blowing tribute is a sign of reconciliation. Shortly after the incident, Yahoo! Sports asked Donovan if love is in the air, and he smiled, winked and playfully said:

"What is this, Access Hollywood!?"

Charlene Wittstock

Monaco's Prince Albert engaged

Prince Albert of Monaco is engaged to South African former swimmer Charlene Wittstock, the royal palace said Wednesday.

The palace issued a statement announcing the engagement of "His Serene Highness" and Wittstock, who was a school teacher before moving to the Mediterranean principality.

The palace did not indicate a planned wedding date, but the statement puts to rest months of speculation that the two longtime companions would tie the knot.

Albert acceded to the throne in July 2005 following the death of his straight-laced father, Prince Rainier III, who built the sleepy Mediterranean port into a tax haven for the rich and a glittering financial center.

That same year, Albert acknowledged that he had fathered a boy, Alexandre, out of wedlock by a former flight attendant. The following year, he acknowledged an American daughter, Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, now a teenager, born to a California woman. Neither can assume the throne because they were born out of wedlock.

While his father's reign was defined by his marriage to American actress Grace Kelly, Albert was known for being a longtime bachelor - so much so that Parliament in 2002 changed the constitution to allow one of his sisters' sons to take the throne if he never produces an heir.

New York City's famous Naked Cowboy wants a bikini-clad woman who calls herself The Naked Cowgirl to stop ripping off his trademark.

The Times Square cowboy, whose real name is Robert Burck, is known for strumming his guitar wearing only briefs and a cowboy hat. He has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Sandy Kane, who wears a red, white and blue cowboy hat and matching bikini, according to the New York Post.

Burck says if Kane's going to make money by posing for photos, he wants her to sign a "Naked Cowboy Franchise Agreement." Most of his licensed franchisees are required to pay US$5,000 a year or US$500 a month and go through a screening process.

Kane, who is in her 50s, is a former stripper who's now a fixture of the city comedy scene. Her real name is Sandra Brodsky. She says she doesn't owe Burck anything. - AP

In fact, Sally once broadcast that the secret to her 14 years of good relationship with George was to sleep on separate beds, sometimes.

"He and I have two different bedrooms in the house," the Cantopop queen once dished out to sina.com. "Yes, we do sleep separately, sometimes. It's better that way, especially for an old married couple like us."

It has been reported that George is currently seeing a forty-something old friend, while Sally is getting some 'quality' time with her badminton coach, Mike.
