Pussycat Doll gets her own flag

The Don't Cha singer - who rose to fame in Pussycat Dolls - said a group of Portuguese fans who follow her around the world have designed their own flag in tribute to her.

Nicole, 32, explained: "I have these fans from Portugal and a couple of times they have travelled around the world to follow me, and one time they brought this Portuguese flag.

"They make me feel so special when they are holding up a huge flag of their country with my face and name on it. It's like I've got my own country! Well, I have my own flag at least."

Nicole is of mixed heritage herself, and although she grew up in the US, her biological mother was of Russian and Hawaiian descent and her father of Filipino heritage. The Scherzinger part of her name comes from her stepfather, who is German-American.

She said she is most proud of her Hawaiian heritage, however, and loves to represent the country, where she lived until she was six.

Nicole added: "I most associate with the Hawaiian part. That's where I was born. My family still live there. The best part of being Hawaiian is the food.

"I think it's hard to find people who have Hawaiian in their blood. You don't hear of many people coming from Hawaii. But I find I represent my people."

Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst previously portrayed Peter Parker and Watson respectively in the last three Spider-Man films directed by Sam Reimi.

Kirsten Dunst portrayed Mary Jane Watson in the three Spider-Man films before this.

Also rumoured to be running for the role of MJ was Mia Wasikowska, the star of Alice in Wonderland.

Let’s also not forget another important female role – Gwen Stacey, Spidey’s other love interest.

In what was another piece of exciting news, Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was reportedly offered a part in the new flick.

500 Days of Summer director Marc Webb will helm the film. Shooting will begin end of this year, as the film is slated for a July 2012 release.

No more kids for Christy Chung

Hong Kong actress Christy Chung, who just gave birth to her third daughter in February this year, says she will not be having any more kids.

"Remember, I only gave birth to my second daughter in July 2008. I feel I've been pregnant for the past three years," she laughs.

She explains that she needs to spend more time with her kids while keeping her acting career going.

"I'm a wife, mother and actress. I'm already multi-tasking ...to have another kid would be too much," she says.

Christy's new movie Bruce Lee, My Brother will debut next month.

"It's the role I've been waiting for. I play Bruce Lee's mother alongside Tony Leung, who plays his father. It's an amazing role. It's something I've never played before and something I can relate to, since I'm a mother myself," she said.

Christy said that motherhood is not slowing down her acting career.

"I'm just beginning. I'd like to do some romantic comedies and an action flick. Being in something like Knight and Day would be great! The chemistry between Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise is awesome."

That's not all, either! Christy is also currently working on songs for her girl group called Goddess!

Portia de Rossi has taken Ellen Degeneres' surname

Portia de Rossi has officially taken partner Ellen Degeneres' last name.

A Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner granted De Rossi's request to take the last name of her partner during a closed hearing Thursday.

The television star will now legally be known as Portia Lee James DeGeneres.

The couple was married in August 2008.

The 37-year-old Australian-born actress asked for the name change last month.

Neither woman attended the hearing. They married during the five-month window in which gay marriage was legal in California.

Portia DeGeneres is well-known for her roles on several television series, including "Ally McBeal," "Arrested Development" and "Better Off Ted."
