Julia, who was brought up Christian, is now a practicing Hindu
Filming Eat Pray Love must have had a big impact on Julia Roberts because the actress has coverted to Hinduism after discovering the religion while shooting the film. In the movie, Julia's character travel to India as part of a pilgrimage.
"I'm definitely a practicing Hindu," she told Elle magazine in a recent interview. Julia also revealed that she goes to the temple to "chant, pray and celebrate" and even takes her husband and kids with her. |
